About NCA S700 Fire Damper

A CE marked multi-blade type fire damper, assessed against the requirements of EN 15650.

The result of years of intensive research, development and testing, the new NCA Series 700 motorised leakage rated fire damper (fire smoke damper) is now available at HVC.

NCA S700 Fire Dampers go beyond the basic requirements of fire dampers with their reduced leakage design, making them suitable for areas requiring dampers with 'ES' classification.

Uniquely easy to install, S700 dampers are surface mounted and make use of fixing lugs and a simple plate frame with factory punched fixing holes, greatly speeding up installation.

Incorporating multiple unique features, the S700 has been designed to ensure simplicity and clarity throughout all stages of specification and installation:

  - The S700 is currently available with three certified installations to suit drywall partitions, masonry walls and concrete floors, all with 120 minute bi-directional 'ES' ratings.
  - CE marked multiple section assemblies are available with nominal sizes up to just over 2m x 2m (vertical installations only).
- For installers
  - Our unique design sits surface mounted to the wall rather than within it and uses drop rods and a simple plate frame with pre-punched fixing holes. No backfilling or sealing of apertures is required, nor a pattress frame.
  - Actuators are supplied factory fitted to dampers, with no site assembly required.
The S700 uses Belimo BF series electronic actuators. These are fitted with thermal probes which continuously monitor both in-duct and outside duct temperatures. In the event of temperatures exceeding the thermal probe's rated temperature (72°C), the damper closes, impeding the spread of smoke and fire.
