About FLC - Flexible linear core

Simple to install and permit easy maintenance and cleaning.

Designed to suit trench heating applications, our Flexible Linear Core is manufactured from the same blade extrusions as regular linear bar grilles for continuity of appearance. Blades are mounted onto a flexible plastic line, giving the ability to roll grilles back, allowing access into trenches for maintenance and cleaning.

Available in satin anodised aluminium (AA5) or mill finish aluminium only. Our range of Series FLC Grilles are manufactured in-house to your requirements, with HVC's industry-beating lead times.

Our Flexible Linear Core is designed to be laid into a narrow trench and supported at the blade ends. It is useful where trenches in floors need to be covered to prevent injury yet access may still be needed on a regular basis and there is still a need to retain ventilation to the trench at all times.

Our flexible linear core permits incredibly easy fitting. It only needs support at the blade ends, there are no fixing screws or concealed fixings to worry about meaning the installation process is efficient and easy.

It is to be expected that the linear grille may see its fair amount of foot traffic, with its thick design, the FLC blade is able to support light foot traffic, making it perfect for around swimming pools, offices and other similar applications.
